Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal

A gentle reminder to everyone planning to fill a Christmas Shoebox this year that all shoeboxes need to be returned by today to allow enough time for collection, processing and distribution. Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting this worthwhile project and helping to bring joy to children and families this Christmas. 🎁✨”

KOINONIA   Last month we heard about the birds, this month we’ll learn about the bees! Our next speaker on Thursday 12 November will be Esther Ross from the Ulster Beekeepers’ Association.  Bees play a vital role in every garden, and in agriculture and horticulture. Beekeeping is an increasingly popular pastime, combining honey production with environmental conservation. Come and hear about the fascinating world of bees! We meet at 10.30 am – all welcome!

🎨 GOD’S ART IN GOD’S WORLD Join OMF for a relaxed, hands-on collaborative painting workshop in St John’s Church Hall on Saturday 14 November, 1.30–5.00pm. Explore creativity, learn from one another and reflect together on God’s heart for the world. Registration by the link in the weekly email.

CONGREGATIONAL COMMITTEE  The next Congregational Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday 17th November at 7:45pm. If any members of the congregation would like any points raised, please let me know at austinmoore@hotmail.co.uk.
