We are delighted to invite you to a very special concert at St John’s: The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Sir Karl Jenkins. This stirring work, composed as a reflection on war and hope, offers a poignant and uplifting musical journey.

The evening’s programme will also feature solo performances of Tunes from the World of Film (organ), Ballade by K. Degg (saxophone), Etude in E (Chopin, piano), Somewhere (Bernstein, cello), and selected movements from The Armed Man.

Our performers include Deirdre Harshaw (Conductor & Organ), Christopher Dunseath (Piano), Scott Herron (Cello), Jed Dunlop (Saxophone), Hannah Dearie (Soloist), and Clare (Harp).

Admission is free, and a retiring collection will be taken in support of the Organ Repair Fund. All are heartily welcome to come, enjoy, and reflect with us through the beauty of music.
