This summer, we are once again inviting the local community to take a seat at our table — with the return of the popular Community Pizza Nights.
Held on the last Wednesday of June, July, and August, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, the evenings are designed to offer more than just free food. They’re an open invitation to gather, connect, and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
“There’s something simple but powerful about sharing a meal,” said Rev. Paul. “In the Gospels, Jesus often met people around tables — and that’s still where so much grace happens.”
Now in its second year, Community Pizza Nights aim to create a space where people from all walks of life can come together — whether they’re exploring faith, new to the area, or just looking for good conversation and a slice or two of something warm.
The evenings are free of charge and open to all, with no need to book in advance. Alongside freshly made pizza, guests can expect a friendly, informal environment, with activities for children and opportunities to chat with neighbours and volunteers from the church.
“This isn’t about preaching or pressure,” added Rev. Paul. “It’s about presence — showing up, being together, and making space for community to grow.”
We hope that these gatherings will be a stepping stone for those who may be curious about faith or simply looking for a deeper sense of belonging.
