ANNOUNCEMENTS

LUNCHTIME LITURGIES for LENT

Join us on Wednesdays at 1.00 pm for twenty minutes of readings, music and guided prayer, followed by refreshments.

LENT REFLECTIONS

Holy Rosary Parish invites you to Pilgrim Hearts: Reflections through Lent.

From 6.45-8.00pm every Tuesday in the hall in Good Shepherd Church car park.

CHRISTIAN AID

Pre-loved Pictures and Wall Art Fundraiser Sale and Coffee Morning on Saturday 12 April 10.00am – 1.00 pm. Come along and enjoy a cuppa and catch up with friends and family. Donate your old pictures and take the opportunity to purchase some new ones.

If you have anything to donate, please contact Jennifer Cairnduff on 07889 395132.

GARDENING and care of Church grounds

If you are prepared to help with keeping the Church grounds neat and tidy over the summer months by coming along for a couple of hours on 2 or 3 evenings (usually Mondays but depends on the weather) between April and September, please speak to William Francey or contact him on 07577 605747.

We have a small team of loyal gardeners but since the average age of our current team is 70+ we could use additional volunteers. You don’t have to be Monty Don or have any special expertise – the ability to walk behind a lawnmower or pull some weeds is all that is required.

VOLUNTEERS for Holiday Bible Club 2025 Holiday

We’re looking for volunteers to help us at our Holiday Bible Club 2025. It will run 1st – 4th July from 9.30-12 noon. There are lots of different tasks, so there will be something for everyone who wants to join the team.

Please contact Sandy: sandykane48@proton.me or 07841908198

From the Inside Out

Join us after Easter for “From the Inside Out,” a six-week course developed by Renovaré that invites us to explore how Jesus changes us—not just on the surface, but from the inside out, beginning on Thursday 8th May.

If you would like to have a notice included in the announcement sheet, please email NewtownbredaAnnouncements@outlook.com

Please try to send your announcements to us by the Thursday prior to the Sunday service.
