耶穌在提比哩亞海邊顯現
這些事以後，耶穌在提比哩亞海邊又向門徒顯現。他怎樣顯現記在下面。 2 有西門彼得和稱為低土馬的多馬，並加利利的迦拿人拿但業，還有西庇太的兩個兒子，又有兩個門徒，都在一處。 3 西門彼得對他們說：「我打魚去。」他們說：「我們也和你同去。」他們就出去，上了船，那一夜並沒有打著什麼。
得滿網魚
4 天將亮的時候，耶穌站在岸上，門徒卻不知道是耶穌。 5 耶穌就對他們說：「小子，你們有吃的沒有？」他們回答說：「沒有。」 6 耶穌說：「你們把網撒在船的右邊，就必得著。」他們便撒下網去，竟拉不上來了，因為魚甚多。 7 耶穌所愛的那門徒對彼得說：「是主！」那時西門彼得赤著身子，一聽見是主，就束上一件外衣，跳在海裡。 8 其餘的門徒離岸不遠，約有二百肘[a]，就在小船上把那網魚拉過來。 9 他們上了岸，就看見那裡有炭火，上面有魚又有餅。 10 耶穌對他們說：「把剛才打的魚拿幾條來。」 11 西門彼得就去[b]，把網拉到岸上。那網滿了大魚，共一百五十三條。魚雖這樣多，網卻沒有破。 12 耶穌說：「你們來吃早飯。」門徒中沒有一個敢問他「你是誰？」，因為知道是主。 13 耶穌就來拿餅和魚給他們。 14 耶穌從死裡復活以後向門徒顯現，這是第三次。
ANNOUNCEMENTS
ASANTE Our meeting on Tuesday 23 April will be in the Megaw Room at 8.00pm when we will be whisked away on an illustrated cruise around Cape Horn by Marjorie and Denis. We are all looking forward to their adventures. Do come and join us. Everyone is very welcome.
ORMEAU CHURCHES TOGETHER WALK
This year’s OCT Spring Walk will be on Saturday 27 April, leaving at 2.00pm from the carpark at Dixon Playing Fields (on Grand Parade opposite the entrance to Orangefield Park). We’ll have a leisurely walk through the Park and along Connswater Greenway. All welcome – it’s on good paths and quite flat, so should be suitable for everyone! See Ken Orr for more details.
Messy Church will be on next Sunday 28th April from 3-4pm. We’ll be thinking about what it means to follow Jesus together. It would be lovely to see you there!
ART EXHIBITION and SALE 20-22 June 2024
We’re planning our next Art Exhibition. Our last exhibition had almost 400 entries, in all media – oil/acrylic/water colour/pastel – and from all ages of artist. It is a great event for aspiring artists to display and sell their work.
We have already sent invitations to artists who have exhibited in the past but there is still a huge amount of work to be done, including tasks such as: receiving in the artwork; compiling the catalogue; constructing the stands; hanging the paintings; providing flowers, music and lighting for the hall; stewarding the hall, catering for visitors, and so on.
Please put the dates in your diary and consider giving a little of your time. There will be opportunities for everyone to help and it is a great way to get to know people. All proceeds go towards Church funds.
We will set up a new Art Exhibition Committee soon and nearer the time will be asking for volunteers to help in what has always been a well-supported local community event. If you would like to help please speak to Marj or Hazel.
GARDENING and care of CHURCH GROUNDS over the summer
If you are prepared to help with tending the Church grounds over the summer months by coming along for a couple of hours on 3 or 4 Wednesday evenings between April and September, please speak to William Francey or contact him on 07577 605747.
We have a small team of loyal gardeners but could always use additional volunteers, no special expertise required.
ChurchSuite
You will have noticed that we are using ChurchSuite to communicate with most of you now – sending out the newsletters, rotas, upcoming courses…. It also makes it much easier for our minister Paul to find and connect with you. However, we know that some of you have struggled to set up your personal information on ChurchSuite and others have only partially updated their details.
As a minimum, we ask that you add your telephone number, your email address (if you have one) and your date of birth to aid Paul. If you would like some help, or have queries, please speak to us after church any Sunday (bring your mobile phone/tablet with you).
