ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday School plant sale today in aid of Christian Aid
The children in Sunday School are looking forward to selling their pots of seedlings today for a donation to support Christian Aid. The plants need to be planted out into your garden or put in a bigger pot. Please update the gardeners over the coming weeks to tell them about the flowers. All the plants are bee friendly and should make more seeds for you next year!
Christian Aid
Thank you to all those who have agreed to deliver Christian Aid Week envelopes this year. The bags are in the foyer ready for collection.
Annual Plant Sale at Knockbreda Community Wildlife Garden – Saturday 13 May morning
This year’s Plant Sale will be held on Saturday 13 May from 10.30-13.00. Hundreds of bedding plants, hanging baskets and other plants will be supplied by Dundonald Nurseries, and these will be supplemented by flowers and plants from our own polytunnel (tomatoes, plants, strawberry plants and a range of seedlings). There will be teas and tray bakes, tours of the Garden and activities for children. Get there early if you can – it was very popular last year, though this year there will be even more available to buy. All proceeds will go towards Garden projects. The Community Garden is on Rosetta Road, beside Knockbreda Methodist Church, and is supported by Ormeau Churches Together.
