KEY HOLDER SURVEY
We are attempting to bring our records up to date and we request that anyone who holds keys to any part of the church premises please contact Scott Guiler, ideally in person with your keys present. (07833 707229)
If you think you had keys and have misplaced them this information would also be useful.
We are interested in anything from master keys to cupboard keys.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
We’re very grateful that our Carers & Tots group has grown so well over the last year. However, this means we need a few more people to join our wonderful team of helpers on Tuesday mornings (10.00 am-12.00 noon). All we ask is one morning per month. There are different ways to help, so we can find a role that suits you. If you’re interested in joining our team or have any questions, please chat with Sandy (mobile: 07841 908198). Thank you!
If you can help serve tea and coffee after church, please sign up on the rota sheet on the notice board in the foyer or contact Margaret Robinson 07714 721748.
We urgently need volunteers for Coffee & Chat on Friday mornings. If you can help, please speak to Barbara McNeill. Your help would be very much appreciated.
AUTUMN FÊTE – in TWO weeks – Saturday 30 September
A COMMUNITY EVENT to which ALL ARE WELCOME
Thank you to all who have already donated. The St John’s Hall stage continues to be the drop-off point for further donations – or they can be collected from you by arrangement – contact Christine – 07742 586 995. (Sorry no electricals, clothes, DVDs / CDs or large furniture).
Donations for the HOME PRODUCE stall would be especially welcome – bread, cakes, jam, chutney, honey, fresh fruit and vegetables – home grown or otherwise! These can be left on the table in the St John’s Hall as Fête Day draws near.
SETTING UP for the Fête will start from 7.00 pm – Thursday 28 and Friday 29 September. Please can you help? This involves sorting out all donations onto tables in preparation for Fête Day.
AUTUMN FÊTE TEAS
We are looking for volunteers to provide traybakes/buns for our afternoon teas.
If you can help, please contact Janet or any member of the catering committee during coffee today. There will also be a sign-up sheet on the noticeboard in the foyer.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, we need YOU, your friends, family, neighbours and visitors.
The Fête is a COMMUNITY event – please tell others, support us and have fun on the day …whether in the hall, having afternoon tea, buying plants or enjoying the outdoor activities with the children. ALL ARE WELCOME.
If you would like to have a notice included in the announcement sheet, please email NewtownbredaAnnouncements@outlook.com
Please try to send your announcements to us by the Thursday prior to the Sunday service.
