We often end our opening prayer by saying the Lord’s Prayer together.
Please join us in whatever version or language is most familiar to you.
Our Father, who is in heaven,
hallowed be your name;
your kingdom come;
your will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen
ANNOUNCEMENTS
KOINONIA Outing on Thursday 16 April to the Somme Museum with lunch at Helen’s Bay Golf Club. If you would like to go, please contact Hazel or Marj.
GARDENING and CARE of CHURCH GROUNDS
If you are prepared to help with keeping the Church grounds neat and tidy over the summer months by coming along for a couple of hours on 2 or 3 evenings between April and September (usually Mondays but depends on the weather), please speak to William Francey or contact him on 07577 605747.
We have a small team of loyal gardeners but additional volunteers are always welcomed. You don’t have to be Monty Don or have any special expertise – the ability to walk behind a lawnmower or pull some weeds is all that is required.
FOODBANK Thank you to everyone who contributes to the food bank. The following items will be needed over the next few weeks: tea, coffee, biscuits, snack noodles, nappies, hygiene products and deodorants.
If you would like to have a notice included in the announcement sheet, please email NewtownbredaAnnouncements@outlook.com
Please try to send your announcements to us by the Thursday prior to the Sunday service.
