Musica: there will be a short rehearsal in the church afer the morning service.
7.00pm Focus Third Way Service. Please come and support our young people in this special Third Way Service (‘Mission on our Doorstep’). Our guest speaker is Dr Angela Minion who will talk about the work of ‘The Big House’. This is a local charity which seeks to show God’s love to young people through providing training, support and refuge to those who are suffering. More infomation on www.thebighouse.org.uk.

Wednesday 24th February
Lunch Club meets in the Rosetta hall at 12.15pm. All welcome.
3.00pm-5.00pm Wacky Weds. Crafts, cooking, challenges and more.
NB: from 3rd March Wacky Wednesday will change times to 3.00pm-4.30pm. This is to allow parents and volunteers to get home before rush hour traffic, while still giving us plenty of time to continue our themed days.
6.30pm Minister’s Office Hour.
8.00pm Homegroup meets at Jean Shannon’s house. All welcome.
Thursday 25th February
7.30-9.00pm Connect (a new organisation for 11-14 year olds) Are you coming to the end of the week and looking for somewhere to hang out with mates, go deeper with God and chill out with games, coffee and loads more? Then come to Connect on Thursday nights. Cya then!

4.00pm-6.30pm OurSpace: Come for games, footy, chat and a great atmosphere.
7.15 for 7.30pm Congregational fork supper and AGM with short musical entertainment.

10.30am Prizes for the League of Church Loyalty will be awarded.
6.15pm Musica rehearsal in the Megaw Room.
8.00-10.00pm Focus ‘Mission - Mission at Home’ guest speaker Rev Paul Bailie (Mission Africa). Please come along and hear more about the work of Mission Africa. Discussions, coffee, games and going deeper with God.
Sunday 7th March
10.30am Communion and reception of new communicants. Also, a short celebration of the sacrament at conclusion of the evening service.
Jacynth and Heather (Caim) thank everyone who supported their fund-raising concert on 6th February by attending, donating or working. £600 was raised for Caim’s work in Thailand and the Church Halls Redevelopment Fund.
‘St John’s has Talent 2010’ If you wish to perform please let Pete know by 28th February so we can finalise our line up. All talents, ages and abilities welcome. Please consider this event, as it has the potential to be a great night’s entertainment for the church, as well as raising funds for both Focus and the Building Fund.
Wacky Weds/OurSpace/Focus: could all those who have not completed a parental consent form please get the forms in at the next available opportunity. Thanks!
Connect: This is an exciting opportunity with a lot of potential. However, it needs enough volunteers each week to ensure it runs smoothly. If you feel you could help please contact Pete.
Existing Volunteers: could all those who are currently assisting at Wacky Weds, OurSpace and Focus return their Access NI forms as a matter of urgency. They should be given to Ross Irvine, with appropriate proofs of identification, because only he can check them and we can then get them processed. If there are any problems don’t hesitate to contact Pete or Ross.
GLU: Prayer leaflets for GLU can be found in the porches and in the Foyer. Please take one and remember GLU in prayer as plans are put into place and the excitement builds.
